My version of the Seaside Cardigan….that’s what not on my needles because I have finished it! As you can see I have already worn it and worn it ……I just love it! I made it loose enough in the body and sleeves so I could wear something else underneath but the natural waist shaping created by the gullwing stitch still makes it appear fitted. The yarn I used is Rowan Scottish Tweed Aran which is black and has lovely tiny knubs of blue, pink and yellow throughout. Although this yarn has now been discontinued it is easy to substitute another yarn and Rowan has many yarn options. I knitted it from the top down which meant I could try it on as it was being made ensuring a good fit.
